I am so happy that there is no snow on the ground yet.
A month ago I fell on the stairs outside of the place I live and injured by spine. I was rushing to the painting workshop in the morning carrying art supplies and... That was horrible... Pain was excruciating and I could not grasp my breath. Luckily, I had my cell in my pocket and I called 911.
I am better now, but I am terrified of falling again... so slippery winter conditions do not excite me at all...
Thanks for the sunny beautiful weather today.

Hi Zina,
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you. Thank God for my
snow tires, it was extremely slippery north of Hwy 7 today. There were lots of accidents.
I broke my ankle over a year ago, and it still hurts. Snow scares me, but ice terrifies me. You need to get the boot ice grippers from Lee Valley.
Talk to you in a few weeks.
Take care, Barbara
By the way, I do have a student who could assist me in doing the workshop you mentioned.
We'll talk.
Thanks, Barbara,
ReplyDeleteA few people recommended the boot ice grippers. I will definitely take a look...
Have a great time in Italy.
Talk to you in a few weeks then.
Take care,
Zina
